SHHH........Let's keep this between us! It'll be our little secret. When I was a kid, I had a tiny corner of our attic claimed as my secret hideout and when I was in that space, I was invisible and invincible. I was safe! As I grew up and put aside childish things, I never quite left behind that hideout in the attic. Indeed, I have expanded the idea until I have created a real honest-to-goodness western hideout where I can go and be invisible and invincible. Some people are content to hide in their computers and create a Second Life online but for me (and I think for you) that is not enough. You want what I have - a small ranch in the western United States that is off the grid and where no one knows who I am or where I come from. I am not there all the time. Most of the year, I am living my life, working and doing what I am supposed to do but for a couple of months every year, I disappear. I go to the secret hideout and, best of all, I get to leave all of my other life behind. I am not constrained by past behavior or past connections. I am new. | |||||
